LetRyde is a trading name and brand under which LETSAIL TECH LTD operates its digital mobility platform — it is not a separate legal entity. All contractual obligations, liabilities, and regulatory responsibilities arising from the LetRyde platform vest directly in LETSAIL TECH LTD (RC 9518541).
LETSAIL TECH LTD, trading as LetRyde, connects Users, Riders, Drivers, Delivery Partners, and service providers through the LetRyde mobile application and web interface. LetRyde's services include, but are not limited to: carpooling and ride-sharing, point-to-point ride hailing, package and food delivery, logistics and haulage coordination, tricycle (Keke) services, motorcycle (Okada) ride services, and other mobility-related solutions that may be introduced from time to time.
LetRyde acts solely as a technology intermediary. LetRyde does not own, operate, or control transportation vehicles unless expressly stated in a specific service offering. The contract for actual transportation or delivery services is between the User and the Driver/Delivery Partner directly.

Platform Services
LetRyde provides a technology platform that may include the following services, subject to availability:
Booking, Rides and Deliveries
7.1 Booking Process
Riders may request a Trip by entering their pickup location and destination within the app. LetRyde will display an estimated fare and available vehicle types. Upon requesting, the system will match the Rider with an available Driver. Acceptance by a Driver creates a service agreement between the Rider and the Driver.
7.2 Surge Pricing
During periods of high demand (e.g. peak hours, public holidays, adverse weather, fuel scarcity, major events), LetRyde may apply surge pricing multipliers. Riders will be notified of the surge multiplier before confirming a booking. Acceptance of a surge-priced booking constitutes agreement to pay the surged fare.
7.3 Waiting Time & Route Deviation
Drivers are expected to wait up to 5 (five) minutes from their arrival at the pickup point before marking a no-show. Drivers must follow the route recommended by LetRyde's navigation system unless the Rider requests a change. Unauthorised route deviations that result in additional charges may be disputed through in-app support within 24 hours of trip completion.
7.4 Delivery Services
For deliveries, the Sender is responsible for accurate package description, lawful contents, secure packaging, and ensuring the recipient is available to receive the package. LetRyde is not liable for fragile or improperly packaged items. Prohibited items (see Section 25) must not be sent under any circumstance.

LetRyde does not control the day-to-day activities of Drivers beyond platform compliance. Drivers are solely responsible for their own taxes, vehicle maintenance, insurance, and regulatory compliance.

9.3 Guarantor & Document Requirements
All Driver applicants must provide at least one verifiable guarantor prior to activation. 9.4 Regulatory Compliance
Drivers must at all times comply with the requirements of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Lagos State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency (MVAA), the National Inland Waterways Authority, and all applicable state transport authorities in the regions where they operate.
Okada and Keke (Motorcycle & Tricycle) Operations

- Operators must possess a valid commercial motorcycle or tricycle licence and ensure their vehicles are duly registered with the relevant State Motor Licensing Authority.
- Okada and Keke operators are required to provide passengers with a serviceable safety helmet at all times where mandatory under applicable law.
10.2 Liability Disclaimer for Okada and Keke
LetRyde's standard liability limitations (Section 22) apply equally to Okada and Keke services. Given the heightened risk profile of two- and three-wheeled transport, Users of these services expressly acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with motorcycle and tricycle transportation in Nigeria.

11.3 Electronic Transfer Payment Verification

11.4 Service Fee, Driver Earnings & Taxes
LetRyde deducts a Service Fee (platform commission) from each Driver's earnings per completed Trip. The current service fee percentage is disclosed in the Driver app and may be updated with 14 days' prior notice. Driver payouts are processed within 24–48 business hours. All applicable taxes — including VAT — are included in the fare. Drivers are individually responsible for filing and remitting their own income taxes to the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and relevant State Internal Revenue Services. LETSAIL TECH LTD TIN: 2623093075833.
Fuel Price and Operational Cost Adjustments
LetRyde operates in Nigeria's dynamic economic environment where fuel prices, inflation, and operational costs are subject to frequent fluctuation.
- LetRyde reserves the right to review and adjust fare structures, commission rates, and service fees in response to significant increases in fuel prices, infrastructure costs, telecoms tariffs, or other operational expenses.
- Where fare adjustments are necessitated by a fuel price increase announced by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) or the Federal Government, LetRyde may implement the adjustment within 48 hours of such announcement.
- Drivers will be notified of any fare or commission adjustments via the Driver app and SMS/email at least 7 days in advance, except in emergency circumstances.

Cancellations and Refunds
13.1 Rider Cancellations

Refunds may be granted for overcharged fares, failed transactions where funds were debited but no trip was completed, or duplicate charges. Refund requests must be submitted via the in-app support channel within 72 hours of the transaction. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Ratings and Reviews
After each completed Trip, both Riders and Drivers may rate each other on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. Ratings are anonymous. Users with consistently low ratings may have their access to the platform restricted or terminated. Submitting malicious, false, or retaliatory ratings is prohibited. Drivers below a minimum rating threshold (currently 4.0/5.0) will receive coaching and guidance before further action is taken.
